My Curse

My Curse

The discrepancies are monumental
The passion is equally ample
The loss is worthy to be historic
Your ruthlessness drowns me
Your occasional kindnesses momentarily save me

With that said,
I feel empty without you
I'm ill with the weight of the humanity's sins
My curse, is you, and I love you
The curse is a replica of listening to
The verses of a harmonious piano piece
The choruses singing in accord
Whilst my heartstrings battling in the discords

When the night comes
My humanity gets captured and immortalized
Forever in thoughts of you
When the day comes you evict me again
From my existence, from my sanity
You are singular and I savor it
You descended from the firmament
But you also ascended from Hades
And yet, we are walking contradictions
